SutraSocial is a matrimonial service built on one idea: a lasting relationship begins with honesty.

• Nobody browses you. A match is shown only when both people fit each other.
• Aadhaar-verified profiles. Real people only; your Aadhaar number is never stored.
• Your preferences stay sealed. No other member ever sees them.
• Clarity Check catches preferences that contradict each other.
• Kundli matching, weighted as much or as little as you wish.

The word सूत्र means a sacred thread, the thread of मंगलसूत्र, and a guiding principle. Letter by letter:

You need three things to register:

1. Aadhaar and the mobile linked to it. An OTP confirms your identity. We keep your verified name and a reference token, never your Aadhaar number.
2. A mobile number for your account, confirmed by an SMS OTP.
3. A password.

A parent, sibling or relative may create the profile on someone's behalf. Choose who is creating it at the start.

Right after Aadhaar and mobile you receive your member ID. Then choose your community: exclusive (matches only within it) or preferred. Your profile is built in five short stages: Who you are, Your background, About you, Your family, What you seek. Each step is saved with Save & Next, so you can stop any time and carry on later from the same step. Any step can be skipped and filled in later from Edit profile.

Your partner preferences decide who you are matched with. They are sealed: no other member ever sees them.

There is no search box and no endless scroll. You see a small number of mutual matches, each with an overall compatibility score.

• Compatibility counts both directions: how they fit what you want, and how you fit what they want.
• Kundli matching adjusts a match but never creates one.
• The full breakdown opens when the score is above 40%.
• Keep the matches you like; Set aside ones to look at later.

Your details stay yours until you choose to share them.

• Others see only your public profile, never your preferences, essays, birth details or verification data.
• Contact details are never exchanged between members. When both families are ready, the bureau arranges the introduction.
• For each match, a switch for each item decides what that one person may see.
• Matchmakers can see your full profile to arrange introductions, and every time they open it is recorded.

Memberships and token packs are bought from Your account. Every payment comes with an invoice.

Use Share biodata to send a neat biodata of a match to your family.

A few simple habits keep you and your family safe.

• Never send money to anyone you meet through a matrimonial service.
• Meet in a public place and tell your family where you are.
• Use Report or block on any profile that behaves wrongly. A block hides you from each other completely.

• Forgot password: use Forgot password; a code goes to your registered mobile or email.
